Stolen from another site!

I think this is a great idea and somthing I will try this year. But I also think it could be imporved for ease of access to the comb honey as chunk by using plastic trays in place of the jars.

Neat, this idea has been around for years,starter strip in bottom of jar.
 
I wonder If the bees could learn to stick the labels on as well?

It's not an easy way of doing it at all, the little b%$&^(*$? hate working in those jars as much as sections:boxing_smiley:


A bit of insulation packed around the jars and a hive with plenty of bees helps,

Silly question, i understand how you clear bees from a super but how would you clear them from the jars, guess you would have to have a super underneath and clear both at the same time.
