Colonies + Hives For Sale

I’ve just acquired a strong sensitivity to bee stings and need to sell my colonies (and therefore equipment as well).

I have at present 4 colonies and one swarm. The four colonies are as follows:

National Hives - £250 each
Hive stand ~450mm high
Ventilated open mesh floor with landing board
Brood box
Wire Queen excluder
Super with some winter stores
Clearing board
Roof, flat galvanised
Note: Just finished Api-Guard treatment

Nuc. + Swarm and National Hive Parts - £250
Swarm [which unexpectedly emerged from one of my hives three days ago!!] is in a very robust nuc, complete with ventilated mesh floor, entrance disk to close for travelling, dedicated mini Ashforth feeder and metal roof (with room for feeder). Nuc. is at present on a 1m stand I use to help with inspections. However it is being sold complete with a National hive equipped as above (less of course frames, brood and stores.

General Notes
1. All other kit has been sold already.
2. Hives generally in very good condition as they have been in a bee house until this summer.
3. You will need two people to collect as colonies are heavy and I can’t help!
4. A car can be brought up close to hives for collection.
5. Cash only with collection
