Hi

This is the first year I have had chickens.

I have noticed on the morning when their door opens, (yes they have an automatic door, which I made myself!), they are straight over to round the beehives.

I think they are picking up chucked out grubs and bees?

Do they have to be fast before the guards wake up?

My chickens get a sting sometimes, you can tell by the noise and the speed they run down the garden.

What they really like is if you ever get any old combs riddled with wax moth larvae, chooks love them.
