Hello, I assume it's ok to miss a week's inspection now we're into the middle of August - it's far too windy here today to open, is that ok?
Thanks
Diane

I thought August was the time to give up the weekly inspection and go on holiday :cheers2:

apart from extracting/ and apiguard i dont got to Apiary or inspect the brood until warm spell in sept or October, then a quick look just to see they are queen right

Unless you have the nice and quiet Carnies who if anything like my colony will still be trying to multiply.
Checked this weekend and guess what they have 3 frames of brood and looking to swarm.:willy_nilly:

Luckily I have spare kit and have done the 6th split this season from them, will re-queen next week and combine later.
Thankfully this will be the last of the line and all will now be AMM.
