Change of schedule

I've been applying my Apilife Var for two weeks now, two to go. Using the method of one strip broken into four every week.

An alternative method, suggested by Thornes in a leaflet they hand out, is to apply two strips every fortnight.

As I wont be able to get to my girls for the last application (well I'll be a couple of days late), I'm planning on doing my last fortnight's application using the second method.

I can't think of any reason why this change of schedule should adversly affect the treatment, but theres clever folk than me on here - anyone?

It will do no harm but do it at least a day before you go away so you can check whether they all come out of the hive due to over-dosing. If this happens remove one of the tablets. If they don't come out of the hive when you put two tablets in the bees will be OK.
