Has anybody any experience of using a centrifuge.

I recently read a little in passing about removing honey from wax by centrifuge left the honey very clean almost ready for jars.

Thoughts and comments please.

A bee farmer I know in Scotland uses a spinner to process his heather honey. The honey is pumper through the device and then into large drums for sale in bulk. It takes the wax out of the honey but I think the honey packer does further filtration.

cappings

on the scale most people here operate surely it's more economical just to let the bees clean up the cappings - they get more stores for winter and you get cleaned wax.

As I said in my piece the big issue for many people during extracting is the cappings.

My suggestion would be probably best suited to an association who could have a mutually owned machine and filters which would solve the issue for their membership.
