They are making some major unsubstantiated medical claims for a health food. Suspect this breaks a number of advertising rules. Only two medicinally licensed CBD products in UK at this time, and they don't cover a fraction of what this stuff will cure you of.
digging deeper into the website, they also state 'From a nutritional point of view creamed honey indicates a healthier product'

misleading sh*te designed to lour in people with two much money and too few braincells....

Are you thinking of diversifying, Mark?
Yes... I make oil already for relatives that have chronic arthritis and other disabilities.
My wife's mother uses the oil and it helps with pain and she doesn't have to take so many pain killers.

She also uses our honey on her alsures.

Im going to crawl away now and wait for the Fed's.

I imagine you’d have to jump through lots of hoops to get this off the ground.
Would it not be classed as a medicinal product? Or is it simply a food additive?
There are different types of CBD oil
Some better than others.

They seem to have a nice looking product above, I would be interested in finding out how they achieved getting it tested and registered.
I'll contact them?

So a lot of the CBD infused honey tastes rank as CBD oil is pretty strong and taints the honey.
You need to use a spray dried protein fixed CBD that is in powder form that is water soluble and mixes well. It’s hard to get hold of - but having mixed it myself and sold to CBDspecialists they say it’s very good...

already a crowded market...unless you can come up with a USP (or should that be THC?)

From the spiel

“We recommend two teaspoons stirred in to warm milk each night for calm and restful sleep”

Forget any additions to Honey, some stirred into hot milk prior to tucking in puts me out like a light anyway - I certainly don’t need to be spending £30 for a jar of messed about stuff. Think I’ll keep to the pure unadulterated stuff.
Grumpy signing off.

I’m sure you are allowed to label honey infused as long as you declare what’s in the jar. Yes, it’s no longer honey; it’s infused honey.

As far as I'm aware in Europe and the UK the cbd percentage in oil is regulated and is going up so I'm told.
And after reading @Erichalfbee link some of this is confirmed
I hope this help my friend.

The regulation of cannabidiol (CBD) by the FSA is supposed to be implemented by 31st March 2021 (give or take a bit due to Covid).

We are actively engaged with them to help formulate the new legislation, along with the listed and licenced British company who make a bespoke, high-strength additive just for us.

The CBD marketplace in Europe is very much the 'Wild West' at present and structured legislation will be welcome (we're also about 2 years behind the US and Canada as far as market maturity). An example of this is the lack of openness on packaging when it comes to the actual amount, but most importantly, the strength of the cannabidiol within the product - be that a spray, oral drops or honey.

Whether you agree with honey infused with anything or not, I'd be happy to answer any (sensible) questions that you might have.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve seen your product advertised. It would be useful to get some info from somebody actually selling the stuff

Thanks Chris for posting on the thread.
I've quite a few questions hopefully they are sensible.

Do you infuse soft set or set honey?
On your Web site I could only see wildflower honey.
I was wondering because of the coconut oil or Olivia oil that is used to make the oil, does the infusing only work with runny honey or can you use osr, blossom, ivy, Heather, dandelion, blackberry etc..

I love your site by the way really informative and modern for this youngster.
As to clientele what ages of folk are buying the cbd infused honey.

Cheers

Mark.

Hi Mark,

We only sell runny honey and have never had a soft set offering in our history believe it or not, although I suspect that you could infuse any honey really.

CBD honey is popular amongst the elderly - particularly with those suffering joint/muscle issues, folk with sleep disorders and chemotherapy patients.

It took us a year to pull the product together and, if I’m being honest, I was worried for a long while that it would flop. However, although the volumes are nothing like our wildflower/heather products I’m pleased that we did it. I’ve had a raft of very sobering conversations with customers with a whole host of health issues who swear by it, many of those discussions very sad indeed. If it helps them then that’s only a good thing.

Thanks re. the web site. We only re-launched it three days ago following a major revamp.

Cris
