Small casts:
Considering what is now known about the composition of swarms, I wonder what is known about the composition of casts, especially of small casts. If a small cast contains a virgin queen, how can she successfully be accompanied on a mating flight? I fed one from the second day and await any outcome.
What chance does she have?

V.Q's don't have chaperones for mating, they will do the deed and return in most cases.

That sounds promising. It's allayed my fears. I'll let you know the outcome. Thank you.
