Damn! A lot more than I ever thought I'd have
Anyone know where you can get them at a reasonable price?

Last lot I bought was from a fella I called in to on the way home. I've lost his address and contact details

All I remember was he had beehives on his shed/garage roof & I think he is on this site?

Thanks

All french beekeeping outlets have them. but you may pay more for postage.

Sure thorns or other will stock them!!

CWJ have them at a reasonable price - Maisie's are a little more expensive but the metal seems to be a bit thicker and you could save postage by picking them up at the convention - what frame castellations do you need?

i find Maisie's cost a bit more but as jbm said they are stronger ,not so flimsy.... i have used maisie's for a few years and are still going ok ....

Self spacing frames are a more flexible answer than castellations. I once bought a hive with them fitted and oh dear it was a pain.

i only use them in the supers , but i know of people who use them in the brood box too ,,,, as said before i stick to self spacing frames in the brood box

but everyone does it differantly :)
