All my car keys nowadays have press buttons to unlock/lock the door remotely. Often I inadvertently seem to activate the things and find the car unlocked when it should be locked or vice versa. Some car security systems can recognize inadvertent unlocking and after a brief pause lock up again. Sadly mine don't . Just for good measure the key battery on one ran down because of excessive key pressing and the remote lock became inoperative. Fortunately at home with the spare accessible.
I've spent some time looking for a small hard "tin" or key case to be a snug protective fit with a millimeter or so of button clearance to contain the key without inconveniencing the pocket. So far without success. Has anyone had the problem and come up with a solution?
