Are there any places where you can buy individual hive parts, without having to buy the whole item?

I have an open mesh floor, still in good condition, but one of the wooden (cedar) sides is split. Seems a waste to have to buy the whole open mesh floor package, when all I need is one wooden side.

OI don't think anyone would be able to supply that piece, unless you can trace the original manufacturer then the shipping and special item cost would come into play, just buy a new one, they are reasonably priced.

As Patrick, never seen components parts advertised. If you contact original vendor they might have odd bits about. Personally I've frequently nailed, screwed and glued bit together to keep them going for a few years more, but I find it rewarding to not just throw things away. I have a special pile in the shed of wood offcuts marked for might come in handy just for that very task.
If the hives are static, on good stands, a bit of bodging will keep the bees happy if no gaps left. Its only humans that care what the hives look like :). Cheap basic OMF will set you back £15 plus postage so if I can find the bits of similar sized wood, the only cost of repair is my time in the workshop

The OMF came along with a colony I bought, so it’s not one i bought myself. It’s in good condition, bar the split on one side. Might have wood glue lying about somewhere, maybe that’s worth a try.
