Extracted 6 supers today and got 160lb so well chuffed as our main flow of balsom is just starting. I have started changing from 11 space to 10 space castellations. There is quite a difference in weight with the 10 space supers being heavier.

How about changing to Manleys and having (9) spacing.

As you say fewer combs seem to weigh more (pro rata)

Few is more......... KISS lol

Happy with the 10 as I bought a job lot of castellated spacers.

problem with manleys - big cost for me personally changing over, and also if, by chance a Q starts laying in a manley super (I have had one) then it is a b*gger to prise apart the combs.

I like castellated myself

I have a very big box of Manley side bars to ty out next year, this year has been a cut comb year so not so much extraction to do.

What even cut comb OSR or are you fortunate to not be near any Admin
kev

Cut comb OSR sells with no consumer resistance.

Clive de Bruyn lectured to that effect over 20 years ago... LOL
