Hi Guys

Does anyone know the diameters of a 1/4, 1/2 and 1 gallon bucket feeders? (i.e. the lid!)

Thanks in advance!

Cheers
Pete

Depends on the manufacturer of the bucket. Simple as that; aspect ratios can vary considerably between manufacture's designs.

how did i know there would be variances!! :(

Not within your range of sizes, but the local manufacturer's standard sizes for 10 litre buckets is 266 or 317mm diameter.

1/2 by T0rnes is 19cm on the lid, 17cm at the base, and 13.5cm high

1/2 by Paines is 17cm on the lid, 14.5cm at the base, and 13.8cm high

Hope that helps

Thanks Guys

I went straight to the horses mouth and asked for a measurement on the 1/4 (145mm) and 1/2 gallon bucket. (205mm)

if there is bee space within the bucket lid I can put three offset with each other for my mininucs (3 mininucs in a single national hive footprint)

if not, a small redesign in the sectioned lids will allow for 3x 1/2 gallon buckets! :hurray:
