I have totally convinced the barmaid in my local (helped by regulars who caught on fast) that Branstons grow on bushes like sloes and are picked the third week in November. I've asked her to look out for some and I will make her a few jars. She did, however, refuse to believe that Picallilli is made from Lilies.
