We’re running a ‘Beekeeping for Beginners’ course on 15th July here at our organic farm near Peterborough, led by Rebecca Marshall (daughter of BFA Chairman, Ged Marshall). Rebecca is the first bee farming apprentice to graduate under the Worshipful Wax Chandlers Apprenticeship in Bee Farming Scheme - and she’s not only super talented and knowledgeable, she’s really lovely, too!

It’s a unique opportunity for beginners to learn from someone so experienced and from such a unique position in beekeeping.

The day is all-inclusive of unlimited organic refreshments, organic lunch cooked in our outdoor wood-fired pizza oven, pollinator-specific wild flower seeds, 25% off anything in the BJ Sherriff online store and the honey tasting session, too. It’s a mix of hands-on guided tuition and some guided teaching in our purpose-built barn to ensure you leave with everything you need to know about his fantastic hobby as well as a new-found confidence.

Full details and to book here: http://thegoodlifeproject.info/course/beekeepingforbeginnersworkshop/

Please be aware that spaces are very limited.

Looking at the description of what's to be covered in the workshop, this sounds to me as though it'd need 6 days rather than 6 hours!!
