At a local show today I entered a class for 2 jars medium honey, but when I called later to view only one jar was on view. Stewards informed me that someone had "borrowed" one of
the jars.

At the end of last term, someone "borrowed" my bicycle.
Fortunately someone returned my bicycle on Thursday.
There is hope, no doubt that your jar of honey will be returned.
Shabby all the same!

Sheffield BKA staged the honey show at Sheffield Fayre this year There was a staff member in the tent on arrival and security at night.
If the Stewards knew the honey had been borrowed (It may have been borrowed for a local press photograph) then it was their job to make sure it was returned in time for collection by the owner.
