Books Passed Down To Me :D :D

Recently visited my Grandad who had inherited beekeeping books over the years and since he doesn't do beekeeping he passed them on to me .

Some really old stuff here scared to even turn the pages I think from possibly 1930's to 1990's 1 definitely looked signed and a couple others has writing.

Will slowly upload photos for you lots to browse over, will slowly read then find a way to preserve them from damage.

Great stuff. Some husbandry methods may be outdated but that would be interesting in itself to see how things used to be done and how things have changed.

Mmmmm well I’d never sell them but I will try to preserve the best I can to pass on like they was passed on to me maybe even add some. I cannot find the backyard beekeeping in Australia anywhere only the 2011 second edition one if anyone can provide a link or source to one I’d appreciate it. From what I gathered he was born in 1925 and died 2011 hense the second edition but I’m not entirely sure.

Sorry to say it looks like this was a printed dedication, that or L.E. diligently signed an awful lot of copies Attached is a photo of two copies picked at random off the shelf here; his other books do not have either the photo or a 'signature' dedication though.

Yes the Snelgrove one is printed always thought it was, but the backyard beekeeping is definitely signed and numbered 51 in the corner.
