This is Andrena lapponica the Bilberry Mining Bee
Caught by Louise Hislop
Thought I’d share it with her permission.
it has two larvae of the Melo oil beetle sitting on it.
The beetle lays its eggs in the ground and when they hatch the larvae hitch a lift on a bee and feed on her eggs and food
