Since the flow has stopped here, I am taking a hive of bees for an experimental trip to a big area of HB some 5 miles away.

I am hoping they'll give me a crop.

Mine are only now starting to work the balsom as the dry weather has held back the nectar flow on it. The bees are now coming back with the tell tale stripe.

Some of my bee's that are only ten feet away from the stuff are comming back with the thorax covered in pollen....but it seems that is all they are comming back with.

mine have started to come home covered in powder, but the weather has just turned bad with heavy showers and a drop in temperature hindering them.
