Has anyone else noticed bees going mad for the flowers on Virginia Creeper?Today they were all over it and making such a buzzing I had to check a swarm hadn't landed out there. It was the same last year but I hadn't ever noticed before that. The flowers are very small and mainly hidden by the leaves.

We have a south facing wall with virginia creeper. Never seen bees on it.. must look!

Bees go mad for the virginia creeper .Often missed as ,as you say they are concealed behind the foliage.
The bees have no problem locating them! :)

The bees look so intense in my Virginia Creeper, that I had assumed (I am not an expert) that there is a hive. The creeper crawls across a walkway - is this possible? I hadn't noticed them until two weeks ago and I am trying to work out whether there are (literally) 100s for the pollen, or whether they are living in there. Any advice?

No hive in there , they're after the goodies .
Hundreds? Usually thousands :)
