hi everyone,

i have noticed over a few weeks a bee in one of my tomato plant canes.

my aunt said she had spied it going from the buddlia to the cane and crawling in, i have today witnessed it going in head first coming out and reversing in.

surely we cant be having a nest here??? if so what would i do as i know not the first thing about bees and im a bit worried about it to be honest.

hope you can help

thanks

yup probably a mason bee..they dont need much space, you can even buy nest boxes for them made of cane, so it must be the perfect size http://www.gardeners.com/Mason-Bee-House/37-481,default,pd.html

its a bee on its own and one i would describe as a worker bee.

will it be ok???

thanks
