Has anyone else got bees in full work like I do and also a hive with dozens of bees faning the entrance. Also the air has a strong pollen smell within 10-15 metres depending on the wind direction. Is it summer or winter?

P.S. The bees are Irish Blacks but I would need them tested..

Yes mine are out in force at the moment and are bringing loads of bright yellow pollen although theres no smell with it. Think it could be ivy.

Mine to, they also objected to me using a mini digger near the hive to make my site larger.

I had to wear my suite while driving it.

Probably about 5/6 at the moment
Mine were VERY busy today, with lots of pollen coming in. As I opened up, I found there was a wasp on one of the stores combs locked in combat with one of my girls. It ended badly. For him.
