Although grand parent duties stopped me travelling to the show I spent the day at the WSBKA convention and was treated to several excellent lectures including an extremely interesting one on forage from Francis Ratnieks and a brilliant one about how comb is built!
Also enjoyed lunch with BeeKeyplayer which made my day 😊

I usually go to the Flood & Coast conference in Telford (for work) and found it such a pain to get there that it stopped the urge to go to the show this year! However, after being offered more land for hives, I am now humming and harring on whether I should go all out this year and scale up to 40 hives!! Perhaps I will have regretted not to go!!

We were there just after 9
Stan looked horrified at what might be to come.

We made a good few contacts. Was nice to chat to Richard Noel after all these years of swapping Twitter jokes and a jar of Velutina.
Foe an inaugural show I thought it was a good start. Hats of to @tidymeup for getting it going.

If you’re thinking of putting an order together you should mail Murray, I liked the look of his dipped boxes. Failing that am sure the normal suspects will be discounting for the spring convention.

If he looked like that at the start, what was he like when it was packed!!!

Thanks Ian, will check these out. Has he got a site to advertise his gear or it's old school phone conversation?

I’d mail him here and ask for a price list or exchange emails. I think it’s reasonable quantities only.

Yes from reading the start of this thread he is not geared up to deal with 10 Frames order or a couple of super! fair enough really, it's not his bread and butter!

the website is still in the construction stage according to Helen (one of his team) and she's the one you need to speak to regarding Kit, I've got her details if you want to get in touch with her.

which route do you take? I went via Llandrindod then Knighton on the way there, which was a bit of a grind from Crossgates, but decided to go Ludlow>Brecon>Pontsenni>Llandovery on the way back and it was rather a nice run. for you it would be just as easy but cut down towards Ystradgynlais at Senni
