Hi,
I am going to re-combine 2 of my colonies today and wondered whether anyone knew the correct quantity of ingredients for spraying the bees?

Lemon grass oil?
Sugar?
Water?

Last time I did this I had White bees flying around for weeks, I did however observe some drift between hives which I don't want to repeat...

Thanks

Probably happening all the time. Just look the other way.

I don't go for that lemon grass thing. Declining flow in many districts - robber bees on the prowl - colonies in defence mode.

I think using newspaper is preferable. And you can fit it vertically in a brood box if you are uniting into one box.
