Having seen the mini poem on Monsieur Abeille's signature got me thinking...

Is there much famous bee poetry?

Or even limericks?

There was once a young man called Jerome
Who fancied the life of a drone...

Anyone..?
;)

Well, its the best my bees could come up with ;-)

My favourite anti limerick, told to me in the '70s and never forgotten

'There was a young man from Trilee
Was stung on the nose by a wasp
When asked if it hurt he said
No, it can do it again if it wants'.

I guess you had to be there
