can a honeybee get through a hole 3/16 of an inch
sorry only work in metric,

omf mesh is 3 to 4mm
bee space 6 to 9mm

so 3/16 is about 4,75mm

so i doubt it but wasps may ( edited ok i am wrong, they can

According to Cushman
4.3 mm is a standard European spacing for wires in a Queen Excluder.
