Hi and morning, is there any basket weavers on here that would like to share there knowledge on the above title.
Me and SWMBO would like learn.
We have a book or two to learn from but any help would be much appreciated.

I bought the books as its swmbos birthday today she be 40.

Very much a beginner still, but I’ve made several baskets and really enjoy the process! The best way to learn start is to do a course with an experienced basket-maker and then take it from there. You can make a basket and pick up a lot of useful information from a one-day course. There are a lot of courses, and youtube videos, by people who are more into bushcraft or self-taught, and they don’t know many of the techniques needed, so are doing it ”wrong”. :)
