Very much a beginner still, but I’ve made several baskets and really enjoy the process! The best way to learn start is to do a course with an experienced basket-maker and then take it from there. You can make a basket and pick up a lot of useful information from a one-day course. There are a lot of courses, and youtube videos, by people who are more into bushcraft or self-taught, and they don’t know many of the techniques needed, so are doing it ”wrong”. :)
