With the gift buying season coming up can anyone recommend a decent all-singing all-dancing book that will cover plant pollination, basic flower botany and stuff like that?
I'd like to be able to dissect different flowers, identify the different parts and generally marvel at how the whole process works as well as understanding the different ways flowers have of attracting pollinators, particularly honey bees (obviously!).
I've got the gear (dissection microscope etc) but no idea of what I am looking at as far as plants are concerned.
Any suggestions?
