I suppose it is a distraction from the news that we are all 'heading for hell in a Handcart!'
I was always far too cool to wear Levis when I was younger. Most of my clothing then was hunting based, so not always so fashionable. If there were pockets good enough to carry a pistol, take down rifle.....even a shotgun.....then that's what I wore! I still have an M65 ex US army jacket that used to hide all manner of 'ordinance.'
As for trousers now, I live, almost exclusively, in '511 Tactical Stryke pants. They have loads of pockets!
