apiguard ?

started our apiguard today but in the midst of some confusion my wife put the gel upside down on top of the frames and so it would have emptied out over some of the frames .
will this do them any harm ? ie overdose etc

also you are advised to put these foil trays on top of the frames under the crown board but there is not enough room in our national so what would you guys recomend , if i put it on top of the crown board i would think that the bees would not bother with it

Many people use an eke to give that little bit of height for the treatment, but an old chap at my association says he just leaves the crown board off and puts the tray of apiguard on top of the frames and the roof on top of that.

doubt the upside down tub for a few minute would give an overdose, but i assume you have it the rightway up now

i would put an empty super on top thats what their FAQ say is preferable to an EKE see here

so just removing the crown board for a few weeks should be ok
