Since putting my first tray in on top of the brood box I have alot of bees outside on the hives aligning board. Is it the apiguard or just the time of year?
I have also sealed up the roofs airvent.

it is the api guard, or they are having a smoke:svengo:

you should have sealed the porter escape holes , varroa board in, taped at back of floor if thornes ecomony style and reduce the entnrace to about an 25 mm

Yes I have done all that aswell, just worried I had done something wrong.

Thanks

Nothing wrong, you often get a load hanging around outside once the Apiguard goes on as MM say's.

I'll stop worrying all night now. (working a night shift)
