HI

I started my treatment of apiguard and on one of my hives (the largest colony) the tray was empty when I inspected 7 days later? On checking the other 2 hives they still had some left in theirs.

Has anyone else ever had this and should I wait till next week and add the next tray or add it now??

Cheers

Mark.

Next week Mark as you want to wait for the next and subsequent lot of lavie hatching, In fact if that one goes down as fast you might need a 3 tray

I've had this same exact thing happen on my hive.

I would have waited a week as Sherwood is suggesting, (but I've added a second gel tray straight away, as I don't want to leave a gap due to upcoming work travel comitments).

I may well add a third tray in a few weeks time if the weather is still warm enough
