Apiguard results

I had some Apiguard left over from last year (still in date) so used on
2 nucs situated next to each other - both 4 frames of brood.

Nuc 1 on jumbo l/s - started by me mid June and fed with sugar with HM's thymol mix added @ 5ml to 2 galls. Mite drop after 72 hours - 1.

Nuc 2 on National - acquired from local experienced beek at end of June Had plenty of stores so never fed. Mite drop after 72 hours - 50.

I didn't want to give the nuc full strength as I made it 1.5:1.
