I'm going to use Apiguard this year for varroa treatment.

I've never used in polynucs before so I have a question, on six frame paynes poly nucs is it okay to use a whole tray?

I suspect it is but it's worth asking a silly question than losing a colony.

From Vita

17 I want to treat nucleus colonies with Apiguard. What dose should I use?
To treat nuclei or small/weak colonies, treat with only 1 x 25 g (1 x 0.88 oz) Apiguard – no more than this. For smaller nuclei reduce this to half again (1 x 12.5 g / 1 x 0.44 oz). Small (eg less than 5 frames) or weak colonies may not tolerate a 50 g (1.76 oz) Apiguard dose and brood may be removed by the workers. If brood removal is seen, remove the product from the colony and feed. If there are mites still falling a week after the end of the treatment, it should be repeated. Make sure that nuclei are well- ventilated during Apiguard treatment.
