I've two things I need to identify on my inspection board (picture attached):
What are the little black things amongst the uncapping wax? Are they ant droppings? I do have some ants that are finding their way into the hive. They certainly are not bee scat.
What are the other things (grey thing near the top right), which I wondered if they were ejected dead larvae, but they have no obvious structure under higher magnification, and are slightly 'fudge' texture when they are squished. There are not too many of them on the board. Maybe about 10.
Suggestions?
