Another way to catch/stop small hive beetle?

In this Youtube video , around time 25:44, 628DirtRooster Bees is removing a stray bees' nest which is neavily loaded with small hive beetle, and in the nest area is much of a sort of white insulation padding (?fibreglass?), and he noticed that many small hive beetles tried to crawl over the insulation, and their legs got entangled in the insulation, trapping them.
