I done an AS on the 9th July with a capped QC. Found new Queen on 26th but today she's there but not laying. No brood, eggs etc. I did notice drones flying in and out the entrance.

Do I leave it longer or buy a Queen?

It could take her up to 30 days to mate after hatching. She may not start to lay for another 2.5 weeks

Me panicking as on the wikipedia site it says " The young virgin queen has only a limited time to mate. If she is unable to fly for several days because of bad weather and remains unmated, she will become a "drone layer."

Weather has not been to bad just over cast. Maybe leave it another week or so

She got about a month to mate, and if things get desperate she starts flying on cooler days and when there's cloud.

What ever happens, it not a bad idea to bye a new queen. It is only way to veryfye, what kind of stock you have now.

To take what ever capped queen cell is not good breeding.
