Welcome iamduvern

I would recommend go for a nuc (with frames) if you are new to bee keeping its a ready made colony although its not ideal* but a nuc will simply drop into your national hive so you can let them get on with it.

Not ideal - in most cases nucs are made up from bees from one or more colonies and in most cases given an imported queen.

The best option would be to buy an established nuc were the queen is the mother of all the bees in the colony and they are already working as a unit but expect to pay a fair bit more for this option.

I would recommend you go on a local beekeeping course, too.

From your posts this does not seem to have been part of your preparation.

Nucs are easier for a new beek. Less likely that you fail in your first attempt at establishing a colony.
