adding second BB

HI all,

Is it still alright in time wise to add another brood box? I got one going on two BB and they are doing really well. and now one of my colonies has reached the point where BB is full, supers are on but would like to give some more room for brood area. But with the main flow do they restrict the queen laying and concentrate more on honey than brood?
