did our 1st inspection today after we had our 1st nuc last sunday
all looks well , could see some new grubs and plenty of new honey stores
plenty capped off as well
the bees have moved onto two more of the fresh frames avalable so i would imagine i am a few weeks away from adding a super .
found the queen and she looked busy
only problem if any was the the distant between the frames was a little wide in the middle so the bees had used the space up , should i leave this has it is for now.
i have put a spacer board in without the spacers available but do not want to push frames too close together has it will crush the bees
all in all not a bad 1st inspection for us newbies
