Doesn't that look dear compared to the poly Langs?
 
No, it's very interesting. I've got wood (ha!) as it's my first year, but would definitely consider it in the future.
 
I looked at that site when Hivemaker posted it last week. The hives have a larger footprint than a National. Not sure whether it is likely to be a problem if a National super was used. Internal dimensions are the same as National, so takes 11 frames plus a dummy board (I don't think I wouldn't want to squeeze in 12 Hoffmans).

I shall still await the MBS option before I invest.

Provided the ID is the same then there is no issue though there is likely to be a lip all round with the thickness of the timber nat being thinner than the thickness of the poly.
