    Bees near Carlisle (or A69 anywhere)

    My bees swarmed to nothing last year leaving weak non-viable colonies that almost made it through the winter. As they were swarms I suppose it's not really surprising. Can anybody supply a nuc or two soon? I can pick up from Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham or Dumfries and Galloway.

    I'm just starting up (again) and I'm looking for a nucleus or colony at a reasonable price. I'm aware of the chap at Castle Douglas (the Beeman) and if I have to buy commercially, that's probably where I'll go. But I'd prefer to procure a nuc from a friendly amateur!
