    Second brood box removal?

Ive had two brood boxes on during the summer to give room for expanding colony and help prevent swarming. Question is do I leave them both on or is there a way to move bees down into first box for the winter

    Extension to super frames

Got a swarm about three weeks ago and they seem settled in the hive. When I put them in the brood box I put in two frames of honey on super frames. Combining hives

I decided to combine my two hives due to one of them being queenless. How long does it take for them to get through the newspaper and move down into the hive with the queen? When should I take the top BB off?
