    Ash Dieback

    According to "Oak before Ash we are in for a splash, but Ash before Oak we are in for a soak" we should be in for a good summer. Here in Mid Wales saw the first hint of green on the Ash yesterday. Oak had been in leaf for a nearly two weeks.

    Just goes to show how spring arrives at a different rate depending on location. Here in mid- Wales my bees are sited under a plum tree and it is at least a week away from blossom appearing. We are pretty high up here as well.
