    Conker trees

    Hi, re Horse chestnuts, bees certainly work for both nectar and pollen in April and it does indeed produce a dark honey. Sweet chestnut produces masses of pollen but not much nectar. Consequently I've never heard of anybody in my locality getting a crop from it.

    Hi, regarding the chickens (and livestock generally) i`ve found where there is plenty of space they will live in harmony of sorts, however on a cautionary note many years ago I had a disastrous evening when a nasty colony i was going through stung my fathers 12 chickens so badly they killed 8...
