    if you've a more than one hive there you might as well shake them all out or combine with another hive

    They could be on the brambles close to the hives, but 10m is a very small area so they would definitely have to go further afield anyway. Its also possible brambles aren't yielding yet even though flowers out and also possible not enough out to get bees attention

    Just give that hive with no eggs a frame with eggs from another hive and see do they build q cells. If they don't have a good look through for non laying queen and kill then unite or give new cell. If you can't find a queen wait until all brood hatched and shake out all bees from hive.

    You will get 225x18 mm nearly anywhere but you will need to stick a 5mm strip on the bottom because 9" isn't actually 9". Should be about €12 for 16 foot lengths
