    I ordered some 8oz jars from a Cornish packaging company they sent 5 oz jars They said the manufacturer told them you could get 8oz of honey in these jars because its 'Heavier' wHAAT!!

    Same story Demareed hives earlier in the season 3 hives with more than 1 qc , queens all present , this years queens, eggs also present 3 AS's conducted, will reunite in a few weeks hopefully on a benign late September day

    Ive got a few pounds of honey at 22% water content would you feed it back to the bees .Diluted or undiluted ?

    Heather Watch 2018

    Checked on the heather north of Chatsworth very dry, no odour of heather, crumbles in your hand ,some burnt patches too. With this in mind, and being on a monocrop is tough on the bees at the best of times , much as I love the heather honey, this year Im going to pass for the sake of my bees

    beards of bees on the front of the hives, no sign of swarming or swarm cells, no sign of rain ,are we running short of forage? Just been up to the heather its trying to bloom but dry , crispy and bleached
