Harrogate in Bloom ran the nectar-rich seed give away project as a way of raising awareness about Sarah's campaign. However I'm not convinced the average gardener is ready to introduce wild flowers into his/her plot - a good mix of nectar-rich ornamentals is a far better choice for most of us...

The answer to your question about the seeds used in the programme is Pictorial Meadow's Candy mix - but they do quite a range of seed mixes.

You might like to know that the BBC series referred to is called Bees Butterflies and Blooms and it goes out on Wednesday 8 February at 8pm on BBC2. Harrogate in Bloom features in programme two which will be shown on 15 Feb.
