    There are beefarmers with 1500 hives that make their own 2:1 sugar syrup, wirh that number the savings add up. I would think the tonnage they buy will give them a good discount.

    Grafting tools

    In my experience very few chinese grafting tools are fit for purpose, they need the reed to be sanded so they are more flexible. Jo May of little bits honey bees has a youtube video on how to take apart and sand the reed on a cheap chinese tool.It helped me, hope it helps you.

    Cell punches can be made with a bit of pipe and some dowel. I think there was a thread on here last year, there is a picture on Dave Cushman. I made some last winter, cost about 25p each. Will post a picture if I can!

    I find the posca pen markers wear off and was hoping the Humbot paint would last longer. Sweinty marking paint is very good but 7.99 euro a pot. Testor enamel paint is used in the U.S.A. but unavailable here.
